It must be really inspiring to work at the Library of Congress. Matt Raymond has been there for seven months. He attends meeting on lofty topics, such as World Digital Library and the National Book Festival. He wanders hallowed halls and sees great architecture out his window. He meets authors and hears bits of their works in progress. He hears about upcoming exhibits. Now he writes the Library of Congress Blog.Today Matt is asking whether blogs are serials and should they get ISSN numbers. (One comment is that there should be an IBSB or International Blog Serial Number.) He also has some day-in-history information, including the fact that it is Frederick Law Olmsted's birthday.
I have enjoyed the first week of Library of Congress Blog and look forward to more.
