As you may see from reading the list, I define biography rather broadly. If there is a strong biographical component to a book some others might describe as a history, I figure a reader inclined to biography will be interested.

Have you read Meacham's "Thomas Jefferson" yet? I had a mental block about his "Andrew Jackson" and just couldn't finish it. What do you think about his bios?
Donna, I have not read it as yet, though I was considering it just today. I have already read so much about Jefferson, so I might turn elsewhere.
I have never cared for Jackson, so I did not try that one.
I skimmed Franklin and Winston while writing Real Lives Revealed. I'd like to go back and read it fully.
